The iPhone Duo will ship with a special version of iOS 27.1. Apple has already released a day-one software update for this exclusive operating system. The initial build is 24A94232, with a newer build, 24A94425, now available. This update likely addresses bugs discovered during media reviews. There is still time for Apple to release further updates before the official launch. Buyers should expect to install an update during the setup process. Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo start on October 16th. The device will officially launch on October 23rd. Apple offers a "Get Ready" process to streamline pre-ordering. This process helps users select options and prepare payment details.
