The sharing is temporary and controlled by the user, who can disable it anytime. A unique link provides access to a live map of the bag's location. Security measures include limited access and automatic expiration after seven days. Apple collaborated with airlines to ensure privacy and secure sharing. American Airlines was an early adopter of this feature. Other airlines, including Delta, United, and more, also support it.
