Jasmine tea infused whipped cream?

I have some questions that I hope people who specialize in fine pastries can help me resolve A few days ago I tried a Japanese strawberry cake with whipped cream infused with jasmine tea. I really want to try making that whipped cream but I haven't found many recipes about the process. The only I found said the correct way to do it is heat the cream and infuse the tea there for a few minutes, then let it cool and then prepare the whipped cream I have some doubts about this because I've never heated the cream before using it to whip.
