LG Sound Suite hands-on at CES 2026: Home theater powered by Dolby Atmos FlexConnect

Dolby's FlexConnect technology, allowing flexible speaker placement, is integrated into LG's new Sound Suite. The Sound Suite, first showcased at CES 2026, includes the H7 soundbar, satellite speakers, and a subwoofer, all utilizing Dolby Atmos. The H7 soundbar features a 9.1.6-channel configuration and supports lossless audio, enhancing spatial audio experience. The system also incorporates Sound Follow, adjusting audio based on the user's phone location for optimal sound. M5 and M7 satellite speakers can be positioned for versatile surround sound, not just rear channels. All components offer Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and app-based customization along with LG's AI sound and room calibration. Users can choose from various combinations of speakers, up to four total. The Sound Suite offers immersive and detailed audio, tested in demo settings, with slight differences observed in adjusted audio with Sound Follow. Independent speaker use and easy stereo pairing are also supported. The system has 50 possible configurations and LG is expected to offer bundles, although pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
