Long Term Support Channel Update for ChromeOS
A new LTS-144 version of ChromeOS is being rolled out. This update is being distributed to most ChromeOS devices. It includes numerous security fixes to enhance user protection. Several high-severity vulnerabilities have been addressed. These include issues related to CORS and Media. Use-after-free vulnerabilities in Payments and WebGL have also been patched. Insufficient validation of untrusted input is a recurring theme among the fixes. Privilege elevation vulnerabilities have also been resolved. Buffer overflows in the Network component have been addressed. Other addressed issues include problems in Linux Toolkit Theming and Guest View.
