This study evaluates associations between major clinical outcomes and measured glomerular filtration rate (GFR), estimated GFR (eGFR) for plasma creatinine, eGFR for cystatin C, and eGFR for a combination of plasma creatinine and cystatin C in a large cohort of patients in Sweden.
