Microsoft Partner Code of Conduct Update
Microsoft is updating its Partner Code of Conduct (PCoC) effective August 1, 2026.
The update clarifies expectations for partner compliance and introduces a new provision.
This new provision will be added to the Governance section of the PCoC.
It states that partners may be required to participate in anti-corruption and remediation programs.
These programs are separate and additional to standard compliance training.
Partners must fully cooperate with assigned remediation programs, which may include specific Microsoft programs.
No immediate action is required from partners; this is for awareness and clarification.
Partners are expected to maintain compliance controls and cooperate with Microsoft investigations.
The update aims to strengthen trust, transparency, and accountability within the partner ecosystem.
Partners can review the updated PCoC terms when they go into effect.
