Motorola's Edge 70 Fusion phone has a huge curved 144Hz display

Motorola recently launched the Edge 70 Fusion, a mid-range smartphone targeted at fashion-conscious and budget-friendly buyers outside the US. This model boasts an impressive display, an OIS-enabled camera with a Sony sensor, and appealing Pantone-inspired fabric-like colors. While its specifications are modest compared to its predecessor, it features a 7.2mm thickness and an improved screen. The device sports the world's first "quad-curved" 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Pantone-validated color accuracy, reaching a peak brightness of 5,200 nits. Its 50MP main camera utilizes Sony's Lytia 710 sensor with optical image stabilization, complemented by a 13MP ultra-wide macro camera and a 32MP front selfie camera capable of 4K recording. Powering the Edge 70 Fusion is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, offering a 15 percent performance increase over the previous model. It supports 68W wired fast charging for its 5,200mAh battery. The phone is also durable, with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, alongside MIL-STD-810H durability. Prices start at approximately $430 in Europe, available in colors like Patone Orient Blue, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Sporting Green later this month. There are currently no plans for its release in the US.
