MURF AI Hackathon

AudioComic is a web app that transforms uploaded comic PDFs into fully narrated, multi-voice audio experiences. It converts each page into an image, extracts dialogue and scene context, and synthesizes character lines using Murf AI's TTS and voice-changer. The app maintains a running story summary to ensure narrative flow. A demo video is available on YouTube, and the code repository is on GitHub. AudioComic uses Murf API for real-time audio generation, multi-language voice support, dynamic character voice assignment, and translation plus localization pipeline. The app makes comics accessible to visually impaired readers, multitaskers, educators, and storytellers. It streamlines the audio adaptation of graphic stories and opens up a new inclusive medium. Future development plans include anime-style adaptation, immersive sound effects and music, video effects and transitions, and precision panel timing. The dev team consists of @kavish2040 and @nchaudhary. AudioComic has the potential to revolutionize the way people consume comics and graphic stories.
