NBA League Pass gets multiview just in time for the season to start

NBA League Pass is introducing new features for the 2024-25 season, including multiview, which allows fans to watch up to four games simultaneously on one screen. This feature is available on TVs, smartphones, and tablets, and is already accessible to subscribers. The season officially starts on October 22, when multiview will become a valuable tool. Another new feature is smart rewind, which automatically highlights key plays and moments. Subscribers can also download full games for offline viewing, making it ideal for flights and other situations with limited internet access. The app is incorporating AI technology, including NBA Insights, which provides text-based updates on key narratives, player performances, and milestones. The league is also using AI to localize content, offering translations and automated recaps in multiple languages. Additionally, the "Dunk Score" feature uses AI to calculate a grade for dunks based on jumping distance, style, and force. NBA League Pass provides access to hundreds of out-of-market games, with a premium ad-free subscription costing $25 per month or $160 per season, and a standard ad-filled subscription costing $17 per month or $110 per season.
