Apple has announced that its Roosevelt Field store in Garden City, New York will reopen soon after undergoing extensive renovations. The store has been closed since November and Apple has been operating from a temporary location in the mall. An exact reopening date has not been shared. Roosevelt Field is the largest mall on Long Island, and Apple first opened its store there in 2002. The renovated store will feature a modern design with more wood and less stainless steel. The new store may also include an Apple Pickup station for online orders, a feature found in many of Apple's newer stores. Meanwhile, Apple is working on other store projects in the US, including renovations at Apple The Galleria in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Apple Baybrook outside of Houston, Texas. The company is also preparing to open a new store in downtown Detroit, which was teased in February. No grand opening dates have been announced for these projects. Apple's renovations aim to provide customers with a modern and improved shopping experience.
