Google Workspace Updates

New features available in NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus

Google is introducing new features to improve the user experience of NotebookLM, a service available to Google Workspace customers. A new interactive Mind Map feature allows users to navigate complex topics and explore connections in their notebooks. Additionally, a new output language selector enables users to choose the language for generated text, making it easier to understand and share work. NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus are available in over 180 regions and support 35 languages. The services are available to various Google Workspace editions, including Business, Essentials, Enterprise, and Education plans. Admins can control access to NotebookLM and set permissions, while users can control who has access to their notebooks. The rollout of the new features will begin on March 19, 2025, and will be available to all users within 15 days. NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus are available as core or additional services depending on the Google Workspace edition. The services are not used to train models or reviewed by human reviewers without permission, and user data remains private. Users can visit the Help Center to learn more about NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus.
