Nonlinear amplification of nano bowl surface concavity on the critical response threshold to biosignals

Polymer nanoparticles able to detect biological signals in cells at trace concentration level are desirable for practical applications in vivo. Here, the authors report nanobowl nanoparticles with a concave structure with amplified response abilities toward biosignals by the modulation of the surface concavity.
