NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus now available as a Google Workspace core service with enterprise-grade data protection

NotebookLM, an AI research assistant, is now a core service for Google Workspace Business and Enterprise customers. It helps users understand complex topics, create presentations, identify trends, and share knowledge efficiently. NotebookLM Plus offers enhanced features like increased usage limits and customization options. Both versions prioritize data security, keeping user information within their organization. The service is available in over 180 regions and supports multiple languages, with audio overviews currently in English. Data uploaded is not used for model training or external purposes without permission. Admins need no action but can review admin controls; end users can learn more via the Help Center. The rollout starts February 5th, 2025, lasting up to 15 days. Specific Google Workspace editions determine access to NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus. Previous add-on purchasers receive NotebookLM Plus as a core service.
