NVIDIA's DGX Spark AI computer, previously revealed, is now available for purchase at $3,999. This compact system integrates NVIDIA's complete AI platform, including GPUs, CPUs, and software, into a device suitable for lab or office environments. It is specifically designed to provide developers, researchers, and data scientists with the computational power needed for complex AI model execution. Prominent early recipients include major tech companies like Google, Meta, and Microsoft, with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang personally delivering a unit to Elon Musk. Despite its small 2.6-pound size, the DGX Spark features NVIDIA's GB10 super system-on-chip, boasting a 20-core ARM CPU and a Blackwell GPU. It is equipped with 128GB of shared LPDDR5x RAM, 4TB of NVMe storage, and various connectivity options. NVIDIA markets it as the world's smallest AI supercomputer and it runs on NVIDIA's DGX OS, a specialized Ubuntu Linux distribution optimized for AI software. The DGX Spark also serves as an entry point for similar AI-focused mini PCs from other vendors utilizing the same GB10 chip. NVIDIA is also developing the more powerful DGX Station, featuring the GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip, though its price remains unannounced.
