Okta vs Keycloak: Comparison and easy Okta to Keycloak migration guide

Keycloak and Okta are two different solutions for user management and authentication. Okta is a commercial cloud solution with a license fee, while Keycloak is an open-source system with free costs depending on infrastructure, implementation, customization, and support. Keycloak offers more customization options and can be expanded with additional integrations. There are two migration strategies: Mass migration and Just-In-Time (JIT) migration. Mass migration involves exporting data from Okta, processing it, and then importing it to Keycloak. It requires downtime, but it's simpler and faster. JIT migration transfers user accounts in real-time when they attempt to log in, making it suitable for applications that cannot afford downtime.
