Oracle Database@AWS is now available in the Canada Central and Sydney AWS Regions

Oracle Database@AWS is expanding its availability to two new AWS Regions: Canada Central and Sydney. This service allows access to Oracle database services on OCI-managed Exadata systems within AWS data centers. Customers can now migrate their on-premises Oracle Exadata and RAC applications seamlessly to AWS. They can leverage integrations with AWS services such as KMS for data encryption. Monitoring is made easier through integration with AWS CloudWatch. The expansion addresses data residency requirements for customers in Canada and Australia. Oracle Database@AWS is now operational in a total of seven AWS Regions globally. Customers need to obtain a private offer from Oracle through the AWS Marketplace. Databases can be setup and used directly within the AWS Management Console. Further details and documentation about the service are available online.
