The February 2026 Power BI update introduces smarter Copilot and report interaction features. The update includes enhancements to visuals and modeling, alongside notable deprecations. Hierarchies in Power BI scorecards are being removed, along with the Heatmap view. Support for SSRS, PBIRS and SSAS Management Packs in SCOM is ending by January 2027, as is the legacy Excel/CSV import feature by July 2026. The Simba Vertica ODBC driver is also being deprecated. Copilot's input character limit has been increased significantly. The Input Slicer, now generally available, allows for flexible data filtering, and pasting selections into slicers is supported. The Card visual has been updated with increased callouts and interactive category filtering. Reports now display consistent default fonts on non-Windows devices. Preview visuals now clearly indicate their status.
