To the Editor A recent trial comparing PCC with frozen plasma to treat coagulopathic bleeding in cardiac surgery reported that PCC delivered superior hemostasis and reduced severe or massive bleeding, chest tube drainage, and acute kidney injury. Considerations of possible mechanisms behind these findings is warranted.
