Recuperando a soberania e a privacidade da sua comunicação pessoal e corporativa

The XMPP protocol, also known as Jabber, was created about 26 years ago as an open-source, federated, and decentralized communication protocol. XMPP was adopted by various commercial solutions, including Google Talk and WhatsApp, but they modified the protocol to create their own "dialects" that only allowed communication within their own platforms. This goes against the principles of freedom and decentralization that the internet was founded upon. The author recently revisited XMPP and found that the ecosystem has evolved significantly, with new software for servers and clients, bridges to other protocols, and more. The author decided to take action against the dominance of big tech companies like Meta, which control our data and habits, and use them to control what content we see. WhatsApp, in particular, has become a "virtual leash" that we are forced to use because the world has become reliant on it for communication. The author created the isaCloud Messenger as an alternative to WhatsApp, which offers freedom, privacy, and security. The isaCloud Messenger uses the XMPP protocol, which allows users to communicate with anyone on any other server that uses the same protocol. The messenger also offers end-to-end encryption, perfect forward secrecy, and other security features. The author believes that recovering governance and sovereignty over communication is essential for Brazilian companies, including those in the public sector.
