Refurbished MacBook Neo Models... Note

Refurbished MacBook Neo Models Now Available, a Day After Price Hike

Apple has started selling refurbished MacBook Neo units through its Certified Refurbished store, following a recent price increase on new models. All four colors—Silver, Citrus, Indigo, and Blush—are available for both configurations. The 256GB base model starts at $599, and the 512GB model with Touch ID begins at $679. These refurbished prices are lower than the recently increased prices for new MacBook Neo units. New models now start at $699 for the 256GB version, a $100 increase from its launch price, and $799 for the 512GB version, also a $100 increase. The refurbished pricing is effectively at or near the laptop's original launch prices. Apple attributes the broad price increases to an ongoing memory chip shortage driven by AI server demand. These price adjustments also extended to refurbished Macs and iPads. The MacBook Neo, powered by an A18 Pro chip with 8GB of RAM and a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, remains Apple's most affordable Mac.
