The first Apple MacBook Pro models with OLED displays are anticipated for a Q4 2026 launch. Samsung Display will commence mass production of the eighth-generation OLED panels in May. Initially, Samsung aims to deliver two million displays to Apple by the close of 2026. These OLED panels will then be sent to Foxconn starting Q3 2026 for final assembly. Apple is modifying some components to optimize manufacturing costs during the development stage. BOE from China is also aiming to provide OLED displays, but Samsung will still be the leading supplier. The Q4 2026 timeframe encompasses the months of October through December. The OLED MacBook Pro is projected to offer both 14-inch and 16-inch display size variants. Expected features also include the M6-series chips and the first full redesign since 2021.
