Reticular chemistry mimics enzyme pockets
Two metal–organic frameworks, built from the same node and differing only in the twist of their tritopic linker, reorient metal sites while leaving chemistry, porosity and topology unchanged, showing that confinement can be programmed by design: the more confined framework captures nearly four times as much CO2 from air.
