RGG's Project Century is now called Stranger Than Heaven

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced "Stranger Than Heaven," previously known as "Project Century," at Summer Game Fest. The game's setting is 1943 Japan, offering a jazzy, unique backdrop. It features the signature bareknuckle brawling combat seen in the Yakuza series. The open-world gameplay will include exploration, combat, and narrative choices driven by player actions. The player character, Mako Taito, appears to be involved in an investigation, hinting at a complex story. This release follows the Like a Dragon spin-off, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. It remains uncertain if "Stranger Than Heaven" shares the same world as other RGG titles. The game's visual style is undeniably stylish and appealing. Currently, the game is still under development and has no official release date.
