Roche receives CE Mark for AI-based Kidney Klinrisk Algorithm(1) and launches new comprehensive chronic kidney disease (CKD) algorithm panel
Roche, in collaboration with KlinRisk, Inc., has earned CE-mark for the first AI-driven risk stratification tool for progressive kidney function decline. This tool will be integrated into Roche's new chronic kidney disease (CKD) algorithm panel for comprehensive patient care. Clinicians can utilize this panel, featuring the Kidney Klinrisk Algorithm and Kidney KFRE Algorithm, to assess a patient's risk of kidney function decline. The panel supports care across all stages of CKD, a significant global health challenge affecting over 700 million people. Early diagnosis and treatment of CKD can delay its progression and reduce associated health risks and costs. The Kidney Klinrisk Algorithm is designed for adults with diagnosed CKD and those at elevated risk due to diabetes or hypertension, even in early, asymptomatic stages. This AI-powered solution leverages routine test results and aligns with clinical guidelines. The CKD algorithm panel is available on Roche's navify® Algorithm Suite for seamless integration with hospital systems. This marks a key step in Roche's strategy to offer digital health solutions for the growing burden of CKD globally. The panel is currently available in Europe and the UK, with future launches planned for other regions.
