This automated solution runs on Roche's widely used cobas immunoassay systems, increasing laboratory throughput. The Elecsys IGRA TB test aims to improve accessibility and reduce reliance on manual workflows. It is a crucial step towards achieving the World Health Organization's global TB elimination targets. The test demonstrates high accuracy with excellent positive and negative agreement rates. It also offers a less invasive alternative to skin tests and is minimally affected by BCG vaccinations.
