Second iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 Public Betas Now Available
Apple has released the second public betas for iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, making them available for testing. Users can join the beta program by signing up on Apple's website and selecting the beta option in their device's settings. A major highlight is the introduction of Siri AI, a significantly more capable assistant that can interact with the web, personal data, and apps. This new Siri functions more like advanced AI models and includes a dedicated app for conversations. Apple Intelligence features are available on compatible devices. The Liquid Glass design has been updated with a transparency slider and refined visuals. Many Apple applications now incorporate new AI features, such as Visual Intelligence in the Camera app for meal nutrition and bill splitting. Siri can also generate text and assist with writing tasks. The Photos app has new AI editing tools, and Safari can now auto-organize tabs. Natural language commands can be used to create Shortcuts and Safari extensions. AirPods receive custom EQ, and the Home app supports 4K video cameras. Enhanced child safety controls are also included. Apple has also implemented performance improvements across the system, making devices feel faster and applications launch more quickly.
