Solvent heterogeneity regulates assembly pathways in supramolecular polymerization
Supramolecular polymers often require solvent mixtures for their preparation but their impact on supramolecular polymerization remains poorly understood. Here, the authors demonstrate that solvent heterogeneity biases assembly pathways in supramolecular polymerization, with the extent of this effect determined by monomer structure.
