SpaceX will attempt Starship's 11th flight test on Monday
SpaceX is preparing for the 11th flight test of its Starship rocket from Texas. The launch window opens on October 13, with a live stream available online. This flight follows a successful prior test that deployed simulated Starlink satellites. They plan for another payload demonstration, using eight more Starlink simulators. The Super Heavy booster for this flight has flown before, including some flight-proven Raptor engines. Key objectives involve gathering data for future boosters and testing the Starship's heatshield. They will also demonstrate maneuvers simulating the upper stage's return. The Super Heavy booster is expected to land in the Gulf of Mexico. Starship’s splashdown is planned for the Indian Ocean. The aim is to gather crucial data for future Starship development.
