Spicier Kimchi?

Hey guys. I'm planning to make Kimchi in the near future, and I've been tasting from many places. i noticed that most kimchi is on the sour side with only slight spiciness. is that the expected end product or is making it SPICY a practice that people does? submitted by /u/MAKEMEYOURSPRETTYBOY
