Spring AI 1.0.3 has been released and is available from Maven Central. This patch release focuses on stability improvements and bug fixes. It includes 27 updates, with 18 enhancements, 6 bug fixes, and 3 documentation improvements. Key highlights include enhancements to the GemFire Vector Store for metadata filtering, AWS Bedrock with a new API and proxy fixes, and improved GraalVM Native Image compilation. OpenAiApi is now an injectable Spring bean, and streaming and tool calling functionalities have seen better event handling and error messages. Developer experience is enhanced with better IDE auto-completion and documentation updates. The team is targeting a 1.1 GA release in 4-5 weeks, focusing on Model Context Protocol functionality.
