Spring Authorization Server moving to Spring Security 7.0

Spring Authorization Server has matured significantly since its initial release, allowing for rapid feature development. It is now ready to be integrated into Spring Security 7.0. This integration will enhance the developer experience by consolidating OAuth2 Client and Authorization Server functionality. Users will no longer need to navigate separate projects for source code, documentation, and issue tracking. All OAuth2-related development will be managed within the Spring Security GitHub repository. The migration impact is expected to be minimal for users. Maven coordinates will largely remain the same, with only the version number changing. Existing classes will retain their names and package locations, with only a few minor relocations anticipated. The project aims for a straightforward migration process for its users. This move signifies a new chapter for Spring Authorization Server within the Spring Security ecosystem.
