The Spring Boot team has announced the release of Spring Boot 3.4.0, which is now available on Maven Central. This version introduces several new features and improvements, including structured logging, support for defining additional beans, expanded virtual thread support, and enhanced Docker Compose and Testcontainers support. The release also includes numerous Actuator enhancements, improved image building capabilities, and auto-configuration for MockMvcTester. Spring Boot 3.4 upgrades to new versions of several Spring projects and third-party libraries. There are many other changes and improvements documented in the release notes, including a list of deprecated classes and methods. The Spring Boot team thanks all users and contributors for their help.
