The Spring Integration team is excited to announce the initial milestone of the new Spring Integration 7.2 minor version. This first milestone has now been released and is available on Maven Central. In addition to the new minor version, releases 7.1.1 and 7.0.6 are also available, providing critical bug fixes and security updates. Several Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) have been addressed in these releases. These fixes include issues related to UDP adapter acknowledgment, header skipping, unzip transformer constraints, and SMB protocol versions. Security improvements also address potential remote code execution and denial-of-service vulnerabilities. Notable changes in the 7.2.0-M1 milestone include support for Spring AMQP's simple publisher. The JdbcMetadataStore has been updated to correctly handle stored NULL values. Furthermore, configurations relying on RestTemplate for HTTP outbound gateways are now deprecated.
