The Spring Tools 5.4.0 release is now available for Visual Studio Code, Cursor, Eclipse, Theia, and Claude Code. This update introduces new validations and quick fixes for various Spring annotations, including @ApplicationModuleListener, @SpringJUnitConfig, @RestController, and @Scope. Claude Code has also been enhanced to visualize a project's logical structure. Significant performance improvements have been made to quick fixes and repository version validation. Reliability during source code indexing has also been improved. The Eclipse distribution has been updated to the latest Eclipse 2026-09 release.
