This update, version 140.0.7339.80 on Linux and 140.0.7339.80/81 on Windows and Mac, includes several fixes and improvements. The Extended Stable channel has also received an update to 140.0.7339.81 for Windows and Mac. This release addresses six security vulnerabilities, with details on four disclosed. These include a high-severity "use after free" in V8 reported by Pavel Kuzmin, and medium-severity issues in Toolbar, Extensions, and Downloads, reported by Khalil Zhani, NDevTK, and Farras Givari respectively. Chrome also thanks external researchers for their contributions and highlights internal security work. Many security bugs are identified using various sanitization and fuzzing tools.
