Stable Channel Update for Desktop
The Stable channel has received an update to version 139.0.7258.138/.139 for Windows and Mac, and 139.0.7258.138 for Linux. This rollout will occur gradually over the next days and weeks. A comprehensive list of all changes implemented in this build is available in the Log. The update addresses one significant security vulnerability. This particular security fix is an "Out of bounds write in V8," identified by CVE-2025-9132. It was reported by Google Big Sleep on August 4, 2025. Details and links to bug information may be restricted until most users have received the update. Restrictions are also maintained for bugs in third-party libraries that are not yet fixed by other projects.
