Study Finds AI-Generated Game Simulations Nearly Indistinguishable From Real Play

This study shows that an AI model can simulate video game environments with visual and temporal fidelity close to the original game, often fooling human evaluators while revealing key architectural tradeoffs through ablation experiments.
