Panasonic has introduced the Technics EAH-AZ100 earbuds, its new flagship model, at CES 2025. The earbuds feature newly-developed magnetic fluid drivers that significantly improve audio quality. The 10mm drivers produce "clean, high-resolution, low-vibration and low-distortion sounds" and utilize technology from the company's EAH-TZ700 wired in-ear monitors. The earbuds support spatial audio with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking, as well as LDAC content, although battery life is affected. They also feature robust adaptive active noise cancellation, Voice Focus AI for calls, touch controls, and three-device multipoint connectivity. The earbuds have a refined shape and size, making them more comfortable to wear, and offer up to 10 hours of battery life with ANC enabled. The charging case supports wireless charging and quick charging. In a brief test, the earbuds demonstrated a significant improvement in sound quality compared to the previous model, with louder and more detailed sound. The ANC performance was also impressive, although it struggled with nearby voices. The Technics EAH-AZ100 earbuds are available now for $300 in silver and black color options.
