The first TVs with Gemini built in arrive later this month

TCL has launched its new flagship television series, the QM9K, featuring QD mini LED technology. These televisions are the first in the industry to incorporate Gemini on Google TV. Gemini, accessible via "Hey Google," allows users to find content, ask questions, and control smart home devices. The system also supports custom AI screensavers generated from user prompts. An mmWave sensor detects user presence, enabling hands-free interaction with Gemini, with customizable settings for its operation. The QM9K series boasts a "Zero Border" WHVA panel for edge-to-edge viewing and superior color accuracy. These TVs offer up to 6,000 dimming zones for enhanced contrast, a significant increase over previous models. They achieve a peak HDR brightness of up to 6,500 nits, a 30% improvement. Available in sizes from 65 to 98 inches, the QM9K includes audio by Bang & Olufsen. The TCL QM9K will be available at Best Buy and other retailers later this month.
