To this day, I can't think of the Republican National Convention without also thinking about Nick Lutsko's generational RNC song, which does more to capture the spirit of the median GOP voter than a million paid-off TikToks. It's an indictment of increasingly factional American politics, then, that Lutsko's intentional parody was wholly outdone by the RNC itself this year.
