The Nuio Flow split ergonomic keyboard uses magnets to help you find your ideal layout

Nuio, a new company founded by two brothers with backgrounds in design and manufacturing, is introducing a collection of magnetic peripherals called Flow, centered around a wireless split keyboard. The Flow keyboard features a split design for optimal hand positioning and is designed to make it easier to find a perfect ergonomic layout. The keyboard has a fully split design with two independent halves featuring keys arranged in a radial, wave-shaped layout. It uses proprietary rubber dome switches and custom backlit concave keycaps, targeting those who prefer the feel and quiet sound of a laptop keyboard. The Flow keyboard is completely wireless, connecting to PCs and mobile devices over Bluetooth, and can be accessorized with adjustable stands and a magnetic deskpad. The Flow system also includes a compact wireless touchpad and cushioned wrist pads that magnetically attach to the deskpad. The quality of the Flow keyboard and its accessories feels on par with what companies like Apple deliver, but comes with a steep price tag. The Flow keyboard starts at $399, while the entire Flow system with all accessories costs $975. The Flow system is available for preorder today, with the space gray version shipping on December 1st, 2024, and other colors shipping on January 1st, 2025. The brothers cofounded Nuio with the goal of improving how we physically interact with our computers, citing the lack of right angles in the human body and the need for more ergonomic designs. The Flow system is designed to strike a balance between one-size-fits-all keyboards and highly customizable options.
