"The summit of scarcity" — Batman No. 1 and Superman No. 1 sell for $13 million

Two comic books that cost a dime apiece in 1940 just sold for $13 million combined. Heritage Auctions announced a private sale pairing the highest-graded Batman No. 1 (CGC 9.4) with the second highest-graded Superman No. 1 (CGC 8.5, Mile High pedigree).
