Three Upcoming Apple Products Seemingly Spotted in macOS 26.3 Code

The latest macOS 26.3 update hints at upcoming Apple products. Code references suggest a lower-cost MacBook (J700) and two new Studio Display models (J427, J527). These codenames have appeared in previous software updates, indicating impending releases. The lower-cost MacBook is expected to be announced in early March, possibly with hands-on previews. The new Studio Displays are anticipated in the first half of 2026. The MacBook is rumored to use an A18 Pro chip, offer bright color options, and feature a 12.9-inch display and 8GB of RAM. This new MacBook would sit below the Air models, reviving the "MacBook" brand. One Studio Display is expected to feature a 27-inch mini-LED screen with a higher refresh rate, HDR support, and a newer A19 chip. This would improve brightness, contrast and performance compared to the current model. No specifics are given for another higher-end model, but a larger screen is hoped for. The current Studio Display launched in 2022 offers a 27-inch screen without mini-LED.
