Thumbnail previews will now show on video progress bar in Google Drive

Google Drive now offers thumbnail previews for newly uploaded videos. These previews appear when hovering over the video's progress bar. Users can quickly scrub through the video using these thumbnails. This feature enhances video viewing and productivity within Google Drive. No admin control is needed for this update. The feature works on web and mobile. It's available to all Google Workspace users and personal Google account holders. The rollout begins July 22nd for rapid release domains and August 20th for scheduled release domains. The feature is only for newly uploaded videos.
