Trump gets the ‘real face’ treatment in blistering ‘South Park’ satire

South Park returned for its 27th season, directly targeting President Trump after skipping the 2024 election season. The show's creators, fresh off a $1.5 billion streaming deal, are unafraid to mock political figures, even using Trump's real face in their animation. The premiere episode satirized recent controversial events, including tariffs, the Epstein case, and media mergers. A scene depicting the naked president with a small penis added to the episode's provocative nature. South Park's use of real-life picture cutouts for celebrities and public figures is a recurring artistic choice. The episode also revived the "in-bed-with-Satan" trope, reminiscent of the show's 1999 film. While some social media users praised the episode, Trump supporters criticized it, accusing the show of going "woke." A White House spokesperson dismissed South Park as irrelevant and attention-seeking. Trump himself has not yet commented on the episode.
