Two Apple Stores Open in India This Week Ahead of iPhone 17 Launch
Apple has previewed its fourth retail store in India, Apple Koregaon Park in Pune. This marks Apple's first store in Pune and its second new opening this week, following Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru. Both new stores share a similar design, featuring a combined Genius Bar and Apple Pickup area. The interior design of Apple Koregaon Park is consistent with Apple's recently established store aesthetic. The store will be operated by 68 employees representing 11 Indian states. Customers can engage in free educational and creative Today at Apple sessions. To commemorate the Indian store openings, Apple has released a limited-time peacock-themed wallpaper for devices. An Apple Music playlist featuring Indian dance hits is also available to celebrate. These openings precede Apple's annual iPhone event, with new iPhones expected to launch in India shortly after. India is a significant market for Apple, with increasing iPhone production and exports from the country.
