Ultimate Ears Everboom review: the right size

The Ultimate Ears Everboom is a smaller, portable version of the Epicboom, offering ruggedness, waterproofing, and party mode connectivity. It features customizable EQ, outdoor mode, and a carabiner for portability. While its sound quality surpasses UE's cylindrical speakers, it doesn't significantly stand out against competitors like JBL Charge 5 and Bose SoundLink Flex. The Everboom delivers decent sound for casual listening, but it lacks features found in other speakers at its price point, like lossless USB-C input and speakerphone functionality. Although durable and reliable, the Everboom doesn't offer enough to justify its $250 price tag, making the Boom 4 a more compelling choice for most consumers. The Everboom excels in portability and battery life, providing 20 hours of continuous playback. While not a bad purchase for those seeking a dependable speaker, it doesn't stand out in a crowded market where other brands offer more features and value for the same price.
