Updated agreements now available
The Apple Developer Program License Agreement has been updated to support new policies and features, and to provide clarification on existing terms. The updated agreement includes changes to the definitions section, specifically regarding the use of App Intents, Sign in With Apple, Critical Messaging API, and Apple Pay APIs. Attachment 2 has also been updated to clarify requirements for using the In-App Purchase API. Apple Services Pte. Ltd. is now responsible for marketing and end-user downloads in various regions, including Bhutan, Brunei, and Sri Lanka. The Paid Applications Agreement has been updated in Schedules 2 and 3, with changes to tax collection and remittance for developers in Nepal and Kazakhstan. Apple will not collect taxes for local developers in these countries, who will be responsible for collecting and remitting taxes as required by local law. The agreement also clarifies tax laws for Korean and Singaporean developers, with Apple applying Korean VAT and Singaporean GST on commissions payable to Apple. These changes will be reflected in the full terms and conditions, which can be viewed online. Translations of the updated agreement will be available on the Apple Developer website within a month. Developers are required to review the changes and accept the updated terms in their account.
