Google Meet hardware now allows users to see participants who were invited to the meeting but have yet to join the call under the "Also invited" heading. This feature also displays the RSVP status of everyone on the invite, including "optional" attendees. This makes it easier to start meetings more efficiently by quickly determining who has not joined or who has declined. The guest list can be viewed on the people panel on a Series One Desk 27 device or on a Meet hardware touch controller. However, guest lists are hidden for events with more than 50 guests, and invited groups and their participants are not displayed. There is no admin control for this feature, and it is available by default for Meet calls with a Calendar event on eligible Google Workspace editions. The feature is rolling out gradually starting on March 10, 2025, for Rapid Release domains and on March 17, 2025, for Scheduled Release domains. It is available on Google Meet hardware devices for Google Workspace, including Enterprise Standard and Plus, Business Starter, Standard, and Plus, Education Fundamentals, Standard, Plus, and the Teaching & Learning add-on, and Nonprofits. Users can visit the Help Center to learn more about viewing the Calendar guest list in Google Meet. This feature aims to improve meeting efficiency and organization.
